Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 April 2026

The short version: Aptly uses two kinds of cookies. Strictly necessary ones keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Analytics cookies (off by default) help us understand how Aptly is used. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking for ad personalisation.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of data stored in your browser by a website you visit. Cookies are commonly used to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, or measure how a site is used. Aptly also uses browser localStorage, which behaves similarly but is not technically a cookie.

For our broader data practices, see the Privacy Policy.

2. How we categorise cookies

Strictly necessary. Required for Aptly to work. These cannot be turned off. Examples: keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie choices.

Analytics. Help us understand how Aptly is used so we can improve it. Off by default. Only set if you give consent.

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing cookies, or third-party tracking cookies for ad personalisation.

3. Cookies and storage we use

4. How to change your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer of any Aptly page.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out of Aptly.
